Featuring two passenger terminals, the airport operates both domestic and international flights to 15 destinations. Top ranked carriers serving the airport include Southwest Airlines, American Airlines and US Airways. There're five other carriers at the airport. But it's not a hub or a focus city for nay major passenger carrier serving the airport.
TIA covers an area of 8,224 acres, ranking as the second largest and busiest public airport in the state of Arizona. Tucson National Guard Base is just located on the northwest corner of the airport. The 92-acre building is home to several units, including 162d Fighter Wing and an AETC-gained unit of the Arizona Air National Guard. These military facilities housed at Tucson International Airport are significant in history.
Where to find Tucson International Airport? The public airport is located about 6 miles south of the central business district of Tucson. The detailed address is 7250 South Tucson Boulevard, Tucson, AZ 85706. TIA contains an International Terminal building and a Main Terminal consisting of three levels. The ground floor is the baggage level. The second floor is the ticketing level that has access to concourse A and Concourse B. There're meeting rooms, restaurants and a shop on the third floor.

- No smoking is allowed in the airport. You can smoke in the designated smoking areas that are located outside on the ticketing and lower levels of the terminal.
- If you're traveling with pets, the pet relief area located outside baggage belt #7 on lower level is available for you.
- The Lost and Found office at the airport is located in the Main Terminal. You can find it on the baggage claim level, west side of the center escalators.

How to get to the airport? Since Tucson International Airport is just about 10 miles from the center of town, driving to the airport is quite convenient and easy. You just need to be familiar with the driving routes. The driving directions given below can help you get to the airport without any delay.
1) From Downtown and the University of Arizona
If you're coming from downtown Tucson or the University of Arizona, you need to take Campbell Avenue. Continue on Campbell Avenue and turn onto Kino Parkway south of Broadway. Then you can follow road signs to Benson Highway. Proceed on and you'll be led to Tucson Road. The airport entrance is just in front of you within a short distance.
2) From East Side
Guests from east side can take Kolb Road S to Valencia Road. Head west on Valencia Road for Tucson Boulevard. Continue onto E Airport Drive and take a slight right on S Airport Drive. The airport entrance will be on your right.
3) From Midtown
When you're coming from Midtown Tucson, please head west on E Pima Street for N Jerrie Blvd. Then you can turn left on N Alvernon Way until it merges onto S Palo Verde Road. Continue to drive and turn to the right slightly toward E Valencia Road. Continue straight onto E Valencia Road and make a left onto S Tucson Boulevard. Proceed on E Airport Drive and turn right slightly onto S Airport Drive. Your destination will be on your right side.
4) From South Tucson
Passengers driving from South Tucson should head south on S 6TH Avenue for W 30th Street. Then you can continue onto I-19 BUS S and turn left onto E Valencia Road. Continue east on E Valencia Road and switch to the right onto S Plumer Avenue. Head on until you come to the first cross street. Turn to your left onto E Airport Drive and turn right onto S Airport Drive. Proceed on S Airport Drive and the airport entrance will be on the right.
5) From Northwest Tucson
Please drive eastbound on E Waverly Street toward N 4th Avenue. Then you need to take a right turn onto N 1st Avenue and continue to take the 1st left onto E Waverly Street. Proceed on and take the 1st right onto N Euclid Avenue and keep on driving onto S Park Avenue. Then you can turn to the left onto E Benson Hwy and merge onto S Tucson Blvd. Head on E Airport Drive and make a right onto S Airport Drive. You'll see the entrance to the airport on the right.
6) From South Eastern Arizona
You can drive along I-10 W to Valencia Road exit 267. Continue to drive and you should exit on W Valencia Road. Continue to head west to Tucson Blvd. Turn to the south and the airport entrance will come into your view.
