Reid Park Zoo Hours and Visiting Information
Is there any possibility to jump from South America to the African savanna, then to the Asian rainforest during one day? Reid Park Zoo in Tucson makes this true!
As a hidden gem set in the city's center, this 17-acre campus furnishes over 500 animals with dedicated care in four different zones, respectively the Adaptation Zone, the South American Animals zone, the Asian Animals zone and the African Animals zone, so now you get to know why we say that in the beginning. Visitors to the zoo will be kept busty with a variety of animal exhibits, exploration, activities and fun. The mission of the zoo, as itself puts it, is to awake and encourage people's awareness of the conservation of biological diversity, and to entertain visitors of all ages with educational and pleasant fun. Though this zoo is not that large, it is a perfect place for family outing and inspiring the kids' curiosity about the wonders of wildlife.
