La Encantada Mall: A Great Place to Hang Out in Tucson

One of the best places to hang out in the city of Tucson is the La Encantada, which is a hep shopping destination that features upscale boutiques, branded shops, recreational facilities and great dining options. It was the first of its kind luxury shopping center in the southern Arizona region at the time it was open in 2004. It is also strategically located on the Skyline Drive area of the city and the designs and architecture have a heavy Spanish influence.

At the time of its set up, there were many debates on the issue whether Arizona, Tucson as a city has the ability to attract enough luxury retailers for the purpose of running year round business. However, in a short span of time, the mall established itself as a premiere shopping hub in town.

On a visit to the La Encantada Mall, you will come across plenty of branded shops like A Pea in the Pod, J. Crew, St. John and Brooks Brothers for women's apparels and accessories.

For your choice of footwear, you can go to the Cole Haan, The Walking Company, and Sancshoeary. The mall also features a wide variety of shops selling home furnishings and home decor, the best ones being Spirit of Santa Fe, Crate & Barrel, Williams-Sonoma and the Pottery Barn, to name a few.

It is an excellent place to enjoy your meal. You can have a great dining experience at the mall's restaurants that include Bluepoint Kitchen & Bar, Armitage Wine Lounge & Cafe, RA Sushi Bar and Wood Fired Grill, among others. There are also coffee bars and take away options at the shopping center.
