Tucson Sidewinders

The Tucson Sidewinders (1998 - 2008) baseball team, was a minor league team based in Tucson. This team played in the Pacific Coast League, and was the AAA affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks major-league team. The Sidewinders used to play in the Tucson Electric Park (TEP), which was located on the south side of the city. Jay Zucker announced the sale of the Tucson Sidewinders to SK Baseball LLC in June 2007 for the sum of $15 M. SK Baseball then relocated the Sidewinders team to the Aces Ballpark Nevada for the 2009 season as the Reno Aces. The Reno Aces schedule include games with 15 teams as from April 9th, 2009, the teams include Salt lake bees, Colorado springs sky sox, Fresno grizzlies, Portland beavers, Nashville sounds, Memphis redbirds, New Orleans zephyrs, Oklahoma city Red hawks, Tacoma rainier, Las Vegas, Sacramento River cats, Round rock express, Albuquerque isotopes, Omaha royals, Iowa cubs.

On the 5th of July the Reno aces played against the Sacramento River cats and lost 13-8, they tried to equalize but failed when they lost 14-12 against the cats. Today the 7th July Reno Aces won 7-2 against the Sacramento River cats. Tomorrow till Sunday the Aces takes on Las Vegas and their schedule continues till the 7th of September, 2009 where the Reno Aces will take up the Fresno Grizzlies. Though schedules change this is the latest.
