Tucson International Airport Parking Information

Tucson International Airport is the second largest and busiest airport in Arizona, just after Phoenix's Sky Harbor International Airport. It's a joint civil-military public airport, which is owned and operated by the Tucson Airport Authority. TUS earned its current name in 1963 with the opening of a new terminal facility. Even now, Tucson International Airport does not serve as either a hub or a focus city for any passenger carriers.

Covering an area of 8,244 acres, Tucson International Airport has three runways. The airport operates three terminals: International Terminal, Main Terminal and Cargo Terminal. TUS is divided into two concourses. Concourse A has nine gates: A1-A9. Concourse B contains 11 gates: B1- B11. Eight major carriers serve the Tucson International Airport and fly to 15 destinations.

Many passengers vote the airport as one of the most adorable airports in the US. Though it's much smaller than mega-airports like LAX or JFK. Tucson International Airport distinguishes itself as a much friendlier airport, including human security screening and courteous greetings. Your experience is much more pleasant and less stressful when compared with their larger equivalents.

TUS also boasts enough pleasant facilities and amenities. Driving visitors may be most concerned with parking conditions at the airport. You may be glad to hear that plenty of onsite parking spaces are available at the TUS. Just choose the most convenient parking option for your visit.

- TIA Garage Parking

The parking garage can hold up to 605 vehicles and it's located in the second level of the Rental Car Parking Garage. Its entrance is located on Tucson Boulevard. You can just follow Ticketing/Upper Roadway to pass Terminal's main entry. Turn to the right on Airport Drive and signs around the garage will lead you to the entrance. The garage charges $3 per hour and each vehicle will cost $9 per day for up to 24 hours parking.

- Hourly Parking Lot

Hourly parking lot is located on Lower Roadway, just across Baggage Claim in front of the terminal. To enter the lot, you need to follow Ticketing/Upper Roadway to its entrance. Parking at the lot will cost you $1 for every 30 minutes. If you need to park your vehicles at the lot for a whole day, the daily parking rate is $12. Hourly parking lot has a total of 447 available spaces.

- Daily Parking Lot

Daily parking lot is located adjacent to hourly parking lot. The lot is accessible through the entrance on Tucson Boulevard. Daily parking lot offers up to 918 parking spaces. This parking lot is the largest parking lot at the airport, boasting 5,342 spaces. The daily parking rate is $4. The covered garage has 303 parking spaces and you need to pay $5 for whole day parking.

- Cell Phone Waiting Lot

If you need to pick up arriving guests and do not want to park your cars at further lots, just park at the cell phone waiting lot. It's completely free of charge.
