Located in historic downtown Tucson, Tucson Convention Center is a large multi-purpose convention center with the former name of Tucson Community Center. Due to the fine weather in Tucson, you can walk to any of the several attractions, shops, hotels and restaurants located a few blocks from the center. An average of 350 days of sunshine is presented for visitors each year.
Featuring 205,000 sq ft of meeting space, TCC can accommodate various types of meetings, conventions, trade shows and banquet events. The convention center also has two performing arts venues and an indoor arena with a seating capacity of 9,275. The Tucson Music Hall has 2,289 seats and is mostly used for holding concerts, including opera. While the Leo Rich Theater offers 511 seats and can be utilized for small scale and more intimate performances. Ice hockey games and indoor football games are usually held at the Tucson Arena.
In addition to some regular conferences and events, the Tucson Convention Center plays host to many other events, like the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Tucson Gem & Mineral Show and many live WWE television broadcasts. TCC is genuinely a primary convention and expo center in the city.

1) Miss Cinco de Mayo 2011
Miss Cinco de Mayo 2011 will be hosted in the Leo Rich Theater in Tucson Convention Center. It's scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 5th at 6 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com. You can also purchase tickets by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Tickets are also available at the Convention Center Ticket Office.
2) Tucson AZ Boys Chorus Pops Concert
The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus gives their annual Pops Concert at the Tucson Convention Center Music Hall. The performances are arranged on Saturday, May 7th at 3 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets for the concert are $18 and $15 and are available online. Concert tickets can be also bought at the TCC ticket office and Ticket Master Outlets. You can get tickets from the Boys Chorus office at 5770 East Pima Street. For more information, please call 286-6277.
3) George Lopez
George Lopez comes to the Tucson Convention Center Music Hall on Saturday, May 21st. The show starts at 8 pm. Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets and convention center's ticket office. Please note that this show is targeted towards mature audiences 18 years of age and older. Audiences less than 18 are not allowed to enter the hall.
4) Rapunzel
Rapunzel and a Tap and Jazz Showcase meet the audience in the Tucson Music Hall on May 28th at 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the TCC ticket office. All Ticketmaster locations have tickets for the show as well.

Zumba Fitness Party is regularly hosted at the Tucson Convention Center in June. It combines Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system. Zumba classes are arranged from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm on June 2, June 7, June 9, June 14, June 16, June 21, June 23, June 28 and June 30.
On Wednesday, June 29, Tucson Convention Center welcomes WWE Smackdown. The games start at 7 pm. Boxing enthusiasts cannot miss it.

Tucson Convention Center is available for various types of rentals. Featuring huge areas of meeting space, including the largest ballroom in Pima County, TCC has the size and flexibility to accommodate a wide array of events, meetings, gatherings and banquets. When there're no pre-scheduled events at your preferred venue, you can host your event at the venue.
Several venues are open to the public for rentals, including the Tucson Arena, Tucson Music Hall, Leo Rich Theater, Exhibit Halls, Grand Ball Rooms, Crystal and Turquoise Ballrooms and others. Many event packages are offered, like wedding packages, family parties and Quinceanera and any other type of reception. Please note that receptions must be booked at least nine months prior to your events. Reservations can be made online or by phone.
Note:
- Outside foods and beverages are prohibited within the facility. The only exception is the Wedding Cake. If you want to make any food and beverage request, please contact the Tucson Convention Center Catering Department at 520-882-9820.
- Rental rates are based on a five-hour duration. If you need additional hours, arrangements can be made at an extra fee of $250 each hour. And 50% deposit is needed after your booking event. The balance is due a month before your event.
- Without prior approval of the Tucson Convention Center Management, any modification of stage equipment is strictly prohibited, like the moving of rigging, lighting instruments and travelers etc.
- Exclusive service providers at the convention center include ARAMARK, Security & Ushering, Ticketmaster, Staging & Labor and Commonwealth Electric Co. You can also choose one of the recommended service providers, like Arizona Party Rentals, Arizona Cine Equipment, GES Exposition Services and US Expo & Convention Services.
