Santa Cruz River

The Santa Cruz River flows through USA and Mexico. The river has dried up due to lack of rainfall and a number of human errors. However, a walk or drive along the Santa Cruz may lead to sighting of many animals and birds such as snakes, hawks, coyotes, toads, cottontails, jackrabbits, lizards, snakes, hawks, kestrels, burrowing owls etc. Another attraction is the Santa Cruz River Park which winds along the river which features attractions like The Golf Course (a disc), The Garden of Gethsemane and a local market where farmers sell fruits and vegetables.
