
Santa Cruz River Park in Tucson: A Wonderful Place for Golf Playing
Tucson is a city in and the province base of Pima County, Arizona, United States. The city's elevation is 728 m above sea level. Tucson is situated on an alluvial plain in the Sonoran desert, surrounded by five minor ranges of mountains: the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Tortolita Mountains to the north, the Santa Rita Mountains to the south, the Rincon Mountains to the east, and the Tucson Mountains to the west. Santa Cruz River Park is Tucson's oldest and busiest disc golf course. Santa Cruz has 18 baskets with long and short positions. Santa Cruz has 2 sets of tees: The short "A" course and the longer "B" course. Both the "A" and "B" courses have cement tee pads. This has been a great attraction for devotees of golf from both older times and youth.
The park has been consistently enhancing its facilities regarding the sport and improving the poorly marked benches and accessible baskets and improved tee pads in order to invalidate the difficulties and complaints by the visitors and regular players.
