For Awesome Experience: Take an Unforgettable Tour to Mission San Xavier del Bac in Tucson
San Xavier del Bac Mission is an ancient Spanish Catholic area situated just about ten miles (sixteen kilometers) south of the business and entertainment district Tucson, Arizona. This mission is also called as 'place where the water appears', since there were natural springs in this region. The Santa Cruz River that now flows only part of the year is also close by to this place. The Mission San Xavier del Bac is located in the center of a hundred years old Indian settlement of the 'Tohono O'odham' (previously it was called as Papago) situated along the Santa Cruz River bank.
The "San Xavier del Bac Mission" was built in the year 1983 and completed in the year 1797 by the tribes known as the 'Tohono O'odham'.
